Kraken Parent Payward Joins Singapore Gulf Bank for Round-the-Clock Settlement
Payward integrates SGB Net to enable 24/7 institutional settlement across Asia and the Gulf, while SGB adds Kraken Prime as a liquidity source.
Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, has partnered with Singapore Gulf Bank to deliver around-the-clock settlement capabilities for institutional digital asset clients operating across Asia and the Gulf region, the companies announced Sunday.
The integration centers on SGB Net, Singapore Gulf Bank's proprietary real-time clearing network. By connecting to SGB Net, Payward's institutional clients gain the ability to settle transactions at any hour — eliminating the delays that have historically plagued cross-border digital asset markets during off-hours or across time zones.
