Euro Tech Holdings Forms 50/50 Joint Venture in Norway With Sea Clean AS
Nasdaq-listed Euro Tech Holdings enters the Norwegian market via an equal joint venture between Sea Clean AS and its subsidiary Euro Tech Global.
Euro Tech Holdings Company Limited (Nasdaq: CLWT), a Hong Kong-based environmental technology firm, announced Monday it has signed a 50/50 joint venture agreement with Sea Clean AS of Norway, marking the company's first entry into the Scandinavian market. The deal was executed between Sea Clean and Euro Tech's wholly owned subsidiary, Euro Tech Global Pte Ltd.
The partnership centers on CleanPACT, a technology platform that the companies plan to deploy through the newly formed venture. The equal ownership structure suggests both parties will share operational control, capital commitments, and any revenues generated from the Norwegian venture, though further financial terms were not disclosed in the announcement.

Norway represents a strategically significant market for environmental technology companies, given the country's aggressive regulatory stance on water quality and marine environmental protection — sectors where Euro Tech has previously built its commercial footprint across Asia. The joint venture positions Euro Tech to expand its geographic reach beyond its established Asian operations into European maritime and environmental services markets.
The announcement was distributed via press release from Hong Kong on October 12, 2026. Euro Tech Holdings trades on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol CLWT. Neither the company nor Sea Clean AS disclosed a projected launch date for operations under the joint venture or detailed revenue expectations tied to the agreement.
